Do You Know Who You Are?

I have been chosen by God (Ephesians 1:4) and saved by His Grace (Ephesians 2:8-9).  My payment for life and liberty has been satisfied (because He has redeemed me as His own) (Ephesians 1:7).  God has changed the way He looks at me and deals with me (Romans 5:10) and I have been freed from the law of sin and death (Romans 3:23-24).  I have been totally forgiven (Colossians 2:13), cleansed (1Corinthians 6:11), and made blameless (Colossians 1:22).  I no longer have to fear His wrath because of my disobedience (Romans 5:9).  I have been made holy (Hebrews 10:10, 1 Corinthians 6:11) and I'm totally accepted (Romans 15:7) because I have been translated out of darkness into light (Colossians 1:13-14, Ephesians 5:8).  I have been clothed (Galatians 3:27), sealed (Ephesians 1:13-14) and hidden (Colossians 3:3) from judgment and condemnation (Romans 8:1) through His righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21, Romans 5:17) and I can now live in peace (Romans 5:1).  I have been born again (1 Peter 1:3) and made a new creation (2Corinthians 5:17) that will not be judged for my sins and I will live forever (John 5:24).  I can call Him Father (Romans 8:15) because He has claimed me as His own (John 1:12-13) through eternal adoption (Galatians 4:4-5).  I am never alone (1Corinthians 6:19) because He never leaves His prized possessions (Romans 8:9) and He always wants to be there when He is needed (Ephesians 3:12).  I have been made complete in Him (Colossians 2:9-10) and given everything I need (Ephesians 1:3, 2 Peter 1:3) in this life and the life to come.

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.  I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. ~ Galatians 2:20-21.
